SMSI Holds Friday Blessings, Share 50 Packages of More Padang Rice to Dhuafa, Ojeg and Railroad Crossing Guards

Cirebon Regency, Controversinews | In order to foster social concern and the spirit of sharing, the Cirebon Regency Siber Media Union (SMSI) held a Blessing Friday activity in the City and Cirebon Regency. Friday (3/10/2025).

This has become a tangible manifestation of SMSI’s concern for the poor in accordance with the mandate of Sunan Gunung Jati Cirebon “Ingsun Titip Tajug Lan Poor” as well as a means of friendship between journalists in strengthening harmonious relations with the surrounding environment.

In this activity the Chairman of the Cirebon Regency SMSI Toto M Said accompanied by Suripto, Mahmud, Mother Firda and accompanied by SMSI members distributed as many as 50 Padang rice packages to the Dhuafa, motorcycle taxi drivers and railroad crossing guards

“Alhamdulillah today, Cirebon Regency SMSI after Friday prayers, distributing Padang rice to the community in the city and district of Cirebon, may be useful for those who need it such as poor people, motorcycle taxi drivers and railroad crossing guards.” He said.

Toto M Said added, that the Blessing Friday activity would be used as a routine program carried out by Cirebon Regency SMSI as a tangible form of journalist’s concern for the community.

“Through this activity we want to be closer to the community, as well as encouraging fellow motorcycle taxis and railroad crossing guards to always be a pioneer of safety for residents and play an active role in reducing the number of accidents,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Suripto Committee from the Corruption Media, accompanied by Mahmud Tabloid Mantap and Mother Firda from the Cirebon Newspaper added, through this simple activity, Cirebon Regency SMSI continued to try to bring positive impacts for the surrounding community and instill the value of togetherness and concern in the environment.

“Today’s sharing action is a means of strengthening the closeness between journalists and the community in the field.” He said.

In the activity that took place after Friday prayers, the management and members of the SMSI distributed Padang rice to the poor of the motorcycle taxi driver and railroad crossing guard.

In addition to fostering a sense of concern, this activity also received a positive response from the community. The poor, motorcycle taxi drivers as well as railroad crossing guards, expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the attention given by SMSI Cirebon Regency, hopefully AMIIN Blessings.
