Good grief! Residents’ Land Suddenly Changed Name, Allegedly Acted by Naughty Village Head in Agrabinta

Cianjur, Konntroversinews | Allegations of fraudulent practices in land acquisition in Agrabinta District, Cianjur Regency, have emerged again. After previously finding discounts on payments to residents, new findings have now emerged: manipulation of data and maps of land coordinates submitted to PT Intan.

Based on residents’ reports, the cultivated land, which originally had different coordinates, was transformed into one large expanse as if the land belonged to one party. This manipulation was allegedly carried out by unscrupulous village heads to expand claims and increase the value of payments that could be controlled.

“Our land data was changed without the residents’ knowledge. The coordinates were shifted, and other people’s names even appeared on our land,” said one of the cultivators in Bojong Kaso Village, Thursday (09/10/2025).

Even worse, indications of falsification of residents’ identities were found, where people’s personal data was used by village officials for personal gain. This practice not only harms residents, but also violates the law and tarnishes the integrity of village government.

Cianjur community activists urged the West Java Regional Police’s Ditkrimsus to immediately intervene and investigate the alleged manipulation.

“If it is true that there has been a change in coordinate points and falsification of data, that has entered the realm of crime. It cannot be allowed,” stressed Mastur, Chair of Cianjur Community Observer Activists.

He also asked PT Intan to review all land data that had been paid for, so that there would be no further irregularities. This case is a signal that the land mafia at the village level is still operating in an increasingly sophisticated and structured manner. ***
