DPW Vox Point Indonesia Sikka Holds Leadership Succession Committee Meeting for the 2025-2029 Period

NTT, (Konntroversinews), – The entire DPW Vox Point Indonesia Sikka management held an evaluation, consolidation and leadership succession preparation meeting for Vox Point Indonesia Sikka for the 2025-2029 period.

In his instructions when opening this meeting at Pintar Asia Beach, Nangahure Maumere on Sunday 26 October 2025, Chairman of DPW Vox Point Indonesia Sikka; Firmus Raf Martin, ST emphasized that: “Vox Point Indonesia or Vox Populi Institute Indonesia is a Catholic religious organization founded by Catholic figures in Jakarta as a response to the nation’s situation which is leading to national division and disintegration due to the polarization of political support in the 2014 elections,” said Raf.

He added that “Vox Point exists as a forum for political movements and cadres that carry a social, educational and national political vision that is not oriented towards individual gain but rather struggles together towards the bonum commune.

“And Vox Point Sikka under the leadership of Firmus Raf Martin and Petrus P. Nenang has implemented various programs including education, training, social assistance and various other activities from December 5 2021 until 2025.”

In accordance with the AD/ART and Organizational Regulations, the management period for DPW Vox Point Indonesia Sikka is four years, so it is time for management restructuring to become a necessity.

Therefore, there needs to be an organizing committee for the election of new management who is responsible for compiling, providing and organizing leadership succession within this Catholic religious organization.

The meeting was attended by: Gregorius Cristison Bertholomeus, SH, MH as Chair of the Organizing Committee for the Election of Vox Point Indonesia Sikka DPW Management for the 2025-2029 Period and Octavia Olga Naga as secretary of the Committee as well as the sections responsible for making the leadership succession successful by receiving the Committee Decree which was handed over directly by the Chair and witnessed by the Board of Trustees and Pastor Moderator.

The board of trustees who attended this meeting, Mr. Romanus Woga, who is the Deputy Regent of Sikka for the 2018-2023 period, gave some wise advice regarding exemplary leaders and motivated them so that the enthusiasm and embers of the struggle to maintain the existence of this organization must be maintained.

“Vox means sound.

Having a voice is good, but it is better if the voice is written and it is best if the voice written and voiced is aimed at achieving prosperity and welfare of society.

And in maintaining the spirit of the organization, you must do good things as often as possible until it becomes a habit with great soul and enthusiasm.

“Hopefully my enthusiasm can be contagious and spread throughout Voxian Sikka.” he said hopefully.

Romanus Woga also added wise advice to maintain and grow this organization, namely by implementing the 3 S culture; Say-keep telling stories about Vox Point, Stay-stay in this organization and Strive-keep fighting until the goals of this organization are truly achieved.” he said ending his wise advice.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Organizing Committee; Gregorius Cristison Bertholomeus, SH, MH in his speech emphasized that the success of organizing this leadership succession requires the involvement and active participation of all committee members.

“We take this role and take responsibility as best as possible to ensure that the leadership relay at Vox Point Indonesia Sikka runs fairly, openly, honestly and professionally in accordance with the mandate of the organization’s AD/ART.

“I will fight as hard as I can and for the initial stage, we will immediately arrange technical and administrative matters to make this organization’s agenda a success.” explained Gelson.
