Soreang, Konntroversinews | The people’s voice has again become the main concern during the recess period for members of the Bandung Regency DPRD. Hadiat, S.Pd.I, took advantage of this momentum as a means to absorb people’s aspirations and fight for them in regional policies.
During the 2025 First Session Period Recess which was held at the Sadoe Restaurant, Jalan Raya Soreang–Ciwidey, Thursday (6/11/2025), Hadiat emphasized the importance of maintaining the spirit of public service amidst limited regional budgets.
In an intimate atmosphere, Hadiat greeted his constituents one by one. His friendly smile reflected the sincerity of a people’s representative who came not just to talk, but also to hear and understand what the people really felt on the ground.
“Even though the APBD is currently in deficit, we at PKB will not stop fighting for the interests of the people. We will continue to ensure that every rupiah of the budget is actually used for development that provides direct benefits to the community,” he stressed enthusiastically.
This statement was greeted with warm applause from the participants. Hadiat emphasized that it is not enough for a legislator to just be present in the council building. More than that, he must go directly to the community to ensure that every aspiration is conveyed and realized through policies that are pro-people.
“For us, politics is not just a position, but a way of struggle. The success of a people’s representative lies in the extent to which the community can experience the real results of development,” he added.
The recess became an occasion for warm two-way dialogue between Hadiat and the residents. Various aspirations were conveyed—starting from issues of infrastructure, health, education, to improving the welfare of farmers and strengthening MSMEs. All input is recorded with great attention to be championed in subsequent regional policy discussions.
As Secretary of the Bandung Regency PKB DPC, Hadiat emphasized that PKB’s political struggle will continue to be based on the values of social justice and alignment with the small people. He believes that in the midst of fiscal constraints, determination and strong political will can be a driving force for change.
“We want to ensure that the people’s voice is not drowned out by the deficit figures. In fact, in difficult times like these, our moral and political responsibility is even greater – to be present, listen and fight for the best for Bandung Regency,”
he said closing the activity.
With this spirit, Hadiat confirmed his commitment with PKB to continue to be part of the solution, not just a spectator in the midst of regional challenges. He also asked for prayers and support from constituents so that his struggle would always be consistent, side with the people, and lead Bandung Regency towards a better and highly competitive direction. ***
