Allegedly Immune to the Law, Distribution of Tramadol on Jalan Purwakarta Cipatungha Takes Place Overtly

Cikalong Wetan | Controversynews- It is suspected that the distribution of the hard drug tramadol is taking place freely and openly on Jalan Purwakarta, Cipatungha No. 02, Cikalong Wetan District, West Bandung Regency. This activity is said to have been going on for quite a long time without any significant obstacles, raising serious questions regarding the supervisory function of law enforcement officers (APH) in the area.

According to information from local residents, the sale of hard drugs, which should only be obtained with a doctor’s prescription, allegedly occurs almost every day and has been going on for months. This condition makes the public anxious and questions the presence and role of the authorities in cracking down on practices that are suspected of violating the law.

A shop at that location is suspected to be a tramadol transaction center. Based on information gathered from residents, the shop is said to be owned by someone with the initials Ahima name that residents say has long been known in the local area. Even though this information still comes from public information, the public urges the authorities to immediately carry out an open and professional investigation.

The media team also managed to meet two shopkeepers who claimed their names Understand And Nyak (aka Tamami). In their statement, they stated that sales activities had been running for more than three months. Both of them claimed to only be workers and said they were carrying out orders from someone who was called “Brother Ahim”. This confession further strengthens the suspicion that this practice is not incidental.

Ironically, even though many residents know about this activity, until now there has been no clear action from the authorities. This has sparked public suspicion that the distribution of tramadol in the area seems to be allowed and considered above the law.

“Everyone here knows that the shop sells tramadol. If ordinary citizens could know, wouldn’t the authorities? This is what makes us angry and afraid. Young people are being targeted,” said a resident who asked to remain anonymous.

Residents consider this neglect to be very dangerous, especially for the younger generation. Abused tramadol has the potential to cause dependence, nervous disorders, serious health damage, and even trigger criminal acts. If this condition continues, it is feared that the resulting social impact will become even more widespread.

Society is pressing Cimahi Police to immediately intervene, carry out control, and thoroughly investigate the parties involved, including investigating the possibility of systematic negligence. It is considered that law enforcement must be carried out firmly and without discrimination in order to restore public trust.

Apart from that, residents also asked the sub-district, sub-district and related agencies not only to remain silent, but to actively monitor and educate the public about the dangers of hard drug abuse.
