CIREBON CITY, Konntroversinews | Emerald Ametis Karaoke, located on Jalan Brigjen Dharsono, Cirebon City, is proven to be operational in the month of Ramadhan 1477 H/2026.

Cirebon City Satpol PP has secured proof of transactions at Emerald Ametis Karaoke dated February 20 2026.

“Monitoring operations to implement the Cirebon Mayor’s circular regarding the prohibition on the operation of entertainment venues involve the Culture and Tourism Department. In operational activities, we also often involve the Police and TNI,” he explained.

According to Edi Siswoyo, for several years there have been no nightlife venues operating during the fasting month. This year, there is Emerald Ametis karaoke which dares to operate.

“We are in the process, the sanctions will be given after the inspection is complete. Apart from karaoke, there is also billiards there. As for the pool hall, no violations were found. Billiards is a sport too,” he said.

Previously, the Mayor of Cirebon had issued a circular regarding operational arrangements for tourism businesses during the Holy Month of Ramadan 1447 H/2026.

In circular letter 500.13/SE.4/Disbudpar/2026, it is stated that entertainment venues such as nightclubs, discos, pubs, karaoke, massage businesses are closed from all activities from 2 (two) days before the Holy Month of Ramadhan 1447 H until 3 (three) days after Idul Fitri 1447 H, in accordance with the Determination of the Results of the Isbath Session of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia.

The Mayor of Cirebon, Effendi Edo, S.AP., M.Si., through the Head of the Culture and Tourism Service (Disbudpar), Agus Sukmajaya emphasized that the implementation of fasting during the Holy Month of Ramadhan 1447 H/2026 in Cirebon City must be carried out solemnly and solemnly.
