BANDUNG, Konntroversinews | Located in Bojong Village, Jalan Lan Alfathu, Soreang Village, Bandung Regency, H. Arya Everest Setiawan from the Gerindra Fraction for Electoral District I held a Recess for the 2026 Session Period II of the Bandung Regency DPRD, Monday (23/2/2026).
In his speech, H. Arya emphasized that recess activities are not just a formal legislative agenda, but are a direct communication bridge between the community and council members.
“In this blessed holy month of Ramadan, through the gathering event, I want to hear directly what the residents’ needs and hopes are. The aspirations expressed will become material for our struggle in the DPRD,” said Arya.
The recess activity took place with enthusiasm and was attended by the local community. This momentum becomes an important space for people’s representatives to absorb aspirations and listen to various problems faced by residents.
As a member of the Bandung Regency DPRD from the Gerindra Fraction for Dapil I, H. Arya expressed his commitment to continue fighting for the needs of the community, starting from infrastructure development, improving the quality of education, to strengthening the people’s economy.
The recess, he continued, is a space for open dialogue so that the policies taken are truly in favor of the people. The aspirations collected will be taken into consideration in preparing regional programs and budgeting.
He hopes that a strong synergy will be built between the regional government and the community, so that development in Bandung Regency can run effectively, on target and sustainably.
“Our commitment is simple, every government program must benefit the community. Socialization is crucial so that residents can access the program optimally,” he said.
On this occasion, Arya also touched on cooperation with BPJS which is part of a partnership with Commission D. He explained that there are still many people who do not understand that BPJS is divided into BPJS Health and BPJS Employment, each of which has various protection programs.
Apart from that, he revealed that some BPJS membership sourced from the APBD is still inactive status. In the midst of a reduction in Transfers to Regions (TKD) of almost IDR 1 trillion, regional governments are required to be more careful in setting budget priorities.
“However, Commission D and the Gerindra faction remain focused on fighting for the interests of the community,” he concluded. (Tz)
