Residents of Padamenak Geruduk Bale Desa, urged the village head to resign, allegedly the immoral case

Kuningan, Controversinews | Again, the position of the village head was again tarnished by the alleged immoral case. This time, the residents of Padamenak Village, Jalaksana District, Kuningan Regency, urged the Head of Rakiman to resign from his position.

The incident occurred on Tuesday (9/23/2025), when hundreds of residents raided the village office. The masses shouted and gave speeches asking Rakiman to immediately put his position for allegedly committing immoral acts with the wife of a member of the Community Protection.

One of the residents, Teguh, said in his speech:

“We residents of Padamenak did not accept our village tarnished by the alleged immoral acts of the village head of Rakiman. Although there was already a peace effort, our marwah had been humiliated. The village head of the immorality was not feasible to be our father, it was better to resign,” he said.

Responding to the pressure, Rakiman answered in a flat tone:

“I am ready to resign if it is proven guilty according to applicable law.”

Meanwhile, a woman of Padamenak residents who asked for her identity to be withheld admitted that she was devastated.

“This village woman has been tarnished. Moreover, there is a Whatsapp chat between Kuwu and the wife of the Linmas whose contents invite inappropriate things. The child of the Linmas has also seen directly. Oh my gosh, how come the village head has done so.

Residents’ anger was also seen from banners installed lined up on the village office fence. Some of them say “Jablay is still a lot”, “Lower the Head of Pervert”, and other protest -pitched sentences.

This wave of pressure is evidence of a deep disappointment of citizens towards their leaders, which they value has tarnished the good name of Padamenak Village. ***
