Satresnarkoba Cirebon City Police Capture Hard Medicine Drugs

Cirebon City Police, Controversinews | The Cirebon City Police Narcotics Investigation Unit succeeded in uncovering the case of the distribution of pharmaceutical preparations without marketing authorization. A man with the initials TAJ alias K, 33 years old, secured by officers in Kapakan District, Cirebon Regency. This disclosure began with public information about suspicious activities related to the circulation of dangerous drugs in the region.

Following up on the report, Unit II Sat Resnarkoba conducted an investigation until finally arrested the suspect along with evidence.

Evidence found included pharmaceutical preparations without distribution permission, a cellphone, cash from the sale, as well as a motorized vehicle unit used by the suspect. All evidence was taken to the Cirebon City Police Headquarters for further legal proceedings.

The suspect Taj is known as a resident of Kapacan District, Cirebon Regency, with daily work as an entrepreneur. He acknowledged his actions and stored the drug to be circulated to residents.

After the case title, the investigator assessed that the existing evidence was strong enough so that the TAJ status was raised as a suspect. Furthermore, the examination of witnesses and deepening of the circulation network will continue.

The police are also developing this case to uncover the main suppliers and circulation in other regions. This step is carried out so that the distribution channels of dangerous drugs can be thoroughly decided.

Cirebon City Police Narcotics Detective Unit, AKP Otong Jubaedi, emphasized that his party would not provide space for the circulation of illegal drugs. “We are committed to protecting the younger generation from the threat of dangerous drugs. Our community is urged to immediately report if we know the distribution of drugs through the 110 Call Center, WhatsApp reported the Bae Police Chief, or WhatsApp Maung Presisi 851 team,” he said on Tuesday (30/9/2025).

For his actions, the suspect will be charged under Article 435 in conjunction with Article 436 paragraph (2) of Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health with criminal threats in accordance with applicable regulations. (Susmiati/Kabiro Controversinews)
