BREBES, (Konntroversinews), – The Brebes Police Department of Medicine and Health (Bid Dokkes) continues to improve food quality monitoring through food safety testing activities at the Gandasuli Police Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG). This step is a form of Polri’s commitment to ensuring that the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program distributed to students is truly healthy, nutritious and hygienic.
This routine intensive inspection was held on Friday, 24 October 2025, at the location of the SPPG Polri Brebes Gandasuli Police, as part of the Polri’s commitment to ensuring the quality and hygiene of food received by students in the jurisdiction of the Brebes Police.
As a result, the five types of menu prepared for today were declared fit to be served and consumed because they were free from harmful substances.
Kasidokkes Brebes Police, Penata Rohmani, S.Kep., directly led the testing activities which included chemical, physical and organoleptic tests.
“Today, we tested five main menus that will be distributed. The menu includes Tortilla Bread, Grilled Chicken, Lettuce (Tomato, Cucumber), Boiled Longan and Soybean Fruit, and Boxed Milk,” explained Penata Rohmani.
From a series of inspections carried out, the Dokkes team recorded results that fully met food safety standards.
Penata Rohmani concluded that from the overall examination results, it was found that five food and drink samples were declared FIT to be served and consumed by children who received MBG benefits. “There were no findings of any dangerous substances whatsoever,” he explained
Meanwhile, PIC SPPG Brebes Police, Iptu Arif Sudarmadi added that since SPPG Gandasuli became operational on 20 October, Brebes Police is committed to continuing to carry out routine and unannounced supervision and food safety tests at all SPPGs under its guidance.
With routine supervision from the National Police’s Dokkes, Arif continued, it is hoped that the quality of food in the MBG program in all regions can be guaranteed on an ongoing basis, making it an ideal model for providing nutrition for Indonesia’s young generation. “This aims to maintain the highest hygiene standards and ensure that the MBG program truly supports improving the nutrition and health of the young generation in Brebes,” he concluded.
