LPKN Highlighted the Alleged Mismatch of the Implementation of the Revitalization of PKBM Atta Awun

Kab. Bandung, Controversinews | The Chairperson of the National Corruption Monitoring Institute (LPKN), Jhony S. Pane, highlighted the management of revitalization assistance for the Atta Awun PKBM Equality School located in Kampung Pasirjati, Lebakwangi Village, Arjasari District, Bandung Regency. According to him, the implementation of these activities is considered not in accordance with the procedures and provisions in force in the management of revitalization assistance.

“The revitalization received by PKBM Atta Awun is self -management, so it cannot be carried out by a third party or a contractor because it is contrary to the spirit of the revitalization program,” Jhony said, Saturday (4/10/2025).

He asserted, based on an explanation from the ministry, the revitalization assistance budget was indeed self -managed so that it could not involve third parties. “The local government through the Education Office is only limited to knowing the implementation of these activities,” he added.

Jhony also revealed that his team when reviewing the location did not find the Chairperson of the School Implementation Committee (P2S). In addition, workers in the field are also not equipped with Work Safety (P3K).

“If things like this are left unchecked, it is not impossible to cause things that are not desirable, especially since P3K is included in the budget,” he said.

Furthermore, Jhony explained that the budget ceiling of Rp504 million with a relatively small building area needs to be supervision.
“The revitalization assistance received by PKBM is unclear, whether for rehabilitation or construction of a new classroom (RKB). At present we are still conducting an investigation to various related parties. From temporary monitoring, only the construction of the toilet is carried out from the beginning, while the other parts only dismantle half of the brick walls and resumed, plus a set of meubelair,” he said.

Jhony asserted, if there was a deviation or abuse of the budget in the implementation of the revitalization, his party would not hesitate to report it to law enforcement officers (APH).
“If there are irregularities, we will definitely follow up in accordance with legal provisions,” he concluded. ***
