City Police Narcotics Unit Arrests Hard Drug Dealer Without Distribution Permit

Cirebon City, Konntroversinews | The Narcotics Head added that the suspect’s modus operandi was to offer hard drugs to his colleagues directly or via short message applications. The suspect admitted that he had been carrying out this activity for the last few months for the reason of gaining personal gain.

After carrying out an examination, Narcotics Unit investigators named KW as a suspect based on sufficient preliminary evidence. Next, investigators carried out developments to investigate the possibility of another network supplying the perpetrators with these drugs. Currently the suspect is still in the process of in-depth examination to reveal the origin of the goods and distribution channels.

For his actions, the suspect was charged under Article 435 in conjunction with Article 436 paragraph (2) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health, with a maximum penalty of 12 years in prison and a fine of up to billions of rupiah.
