Kuningan, Konntroversinews.com | It’s really scary…! There are still residents in Kuningan Regency who live in very poor conditions. An extreme poor resident in RT 15, Dusun 3, Walaharcageur Village, Luragung District, named Mrs. Ita Rosita, along with her mentally retarded child, were forced to survive only on the compassion and help of their neighbors.
The condition of Mrs. Ita’s house is very worrying — damaged, shabby, and far from habitable. Even to eat, they have to rely on the helping hands of local residents.
“We are very concerned about the condition of Mrs. Ita and her children. Since her husband died, their lives have become increasingly difficult. It is difficult to even eat. We, the neighbors, can only help as much as we can,” said one local community figure who did not want to be named, Sunday (19/10/2025).
When confirmed, the village government said that Mrs. Ita had received the Village Fund BLT, but the PKH and BPNT assistance was still in the application process.
“BLT DD has been received, for PKH and BPNT it has just been submitted. Hopefully it will be realized soon,” said the local village head.
Responding to this sad condition, the Head of the Kuningan FKGOL Barracks, Bung Nana Rusdiana, S.IP, spoke up and gave strong criticism to the regional government.
“It’s really embarrassing and sad. In the middle of Kuningan, which has just celebrated its anniversary, there are still residents who have difficulty eating. This is a hard slap for all parties,” stressed Nana at the FKGOL Secretariat.
He added that this condition is a real reflection that there are still many Kuningan residents who live in extreme poverty, contrary to regional development jargon.
“Don’t let the Kuningan Melesaaat program turn into Kuningan Meleseeeet! The government must act quickly. Families like Mrs. Ita deserve serious attention, from the village to the central level,” he said.
FKGOL emphasized that it would continue to exercise control and fight for justice for the little people.
“We will not be silent. As long as injustice still stands, the voices of resistance will never stop,” concluded Nana Rusdiana. ***
