Brebes Police Holds Training for Kasatkamling Heads, Strengthens Synergy to Maintain Environmental Security

BREBES, Kontoversinews.Com– In an effort to achieve optimal security and public order (Kamtibmas), the Brebes Police through the Community Development Unit (Sat Binmas) held training for Heads of Environmental Security Units (Kasatkamling) throughout Brebes Regency.

This training activity was officially opened by Brebes Police Chief AKBP Lilik Ardhiansyah in the Brebes Police Headquarters Hall on Wednesday, November 12 2025. This training was attended by representatives of Kasatkamling from all sub-districts in the Brebes area.

Brebes Police Chief, AKBP Lilik Ardhiansyah, in his speech said that Kasatkamling is the spearhead of the police in maintaining security at the Rukun Warga (RW) and village/sub-district levels.

“The role of Kasatkamling is very vital. They are our eyes and ears in the smallest environment. This training aims to improve managerial abilities, operational preparedness and legal understanding for all Kasatkamling,” said the Police Chief in his speech.

By holding this training, it is hoped that the quality of environmental security in Brebes Regency can continue to improve, creating a safe, orderly and conducive situation.

Head of the Brebes Police Binmas Unit, AKP Puji Haryati, added that this training was also an opportunity to strengthen synergy between the National Police and community components.

“We want to ensure that the Police, Bhabinkamtibmas and Kasatkamling can work harmoniously. Security is a shared responsibility,” he said on Thursday (13/11).

In this training, brief material was also provided regarding improving patrol security. Then conflict management and mediation as well as understanding laws related to Community Security and Security and the use of communication tools for fast and accurate reporting to the nearest police station.

“The training material focuses on increasing synergy and operational technical capabilities in the field. The material was delivered comprehensively by the Heads of the Binmas Sat Unit,” he added.

As for the hopes of this activity, AKP Puji expressed the establishment of strong collaboration and communication between Bhabinkamtibmas and Kasatkamling to increase early detection of potential problems in their respective areas. It was emphasized that good communication between the National Police and the community is a benchmark for success in maintaining security. Effective communication will make it easier to resolve problems and build trust.

“With this training, the Brebes Police hope that the managerial and operational skills of the Head of Security and Security will be further honed, thereby creating an increasingly safe, orderly and conducive environment thanks to the synergy between the Police and the community,” he concluded.
