Quick Action by Police to Secure Perpetrators of Persecution in Pegambiran, Evidence Secured

Cirebon City, Controversy news, Com. – The Lemahwungkuk Police Department, Cirebon City Police, moved quickly to uncover the case of abuse that occurred at RT 04 RW 10, Pegambiran Village, Lemahwungkuk District, Cirebon City, on Wednesday (28/01/2026) at around 21.30 WIB, after receiving reports from the local community.

Kapolsek Lemahwungkuk IPTU Usep Winta, SH said that the victim in this incident was Feri Hadi Tama, a man aged around 41 years, a casual daily laborer, a resident of Pegambiran Village, Lemah Wungkuk District, Cirebon City, who suffered a swollen wound on the back of his head due to a blunt object.

The incident began when three men came to the victim’s house while under the influence of alcohol with the intention of meeting the victim’s younger brother. The situation then escalated until an argument broke out which led to violence.

The main suspect with the initials L, a man aged around 28 years, a casual daily worker, a resident of Pegambiran Village, Lemahwungkuk District, Cirebon City, is suspected of hitting the victim once using a wooden chair when the victim tried to break up the dispute.

Two other alleged perpetrators with the initials H and T, both adult men and residents of Pegambiran Village, Lemahwungkuk District, Cirebon City, also came to the scene of the incident with the main perpetrator, but did not directly beat them.

As a result of the blow, the victim became unconscious and was immediately rushed to Gunung Jati Hospital for medical treatment. Based on the latest information, the victim is conscious but is still in the process of recovering.

The Lemahwungkuk Police Chief explained that officers led by a Supervising Officer immediately went to the scene of the incident and arrested the three suspected perpetrators in order to avoid vigilantism from local residents.

“In addition to securing the alleged perpetrators, officers also secured evidence in the form of a wooden chair that was used to hit the victim, for the purposes of further investigation and investigation,” said Inspector Usep Winta, SH.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Cirebon City Police, AKP M. Aris Hermanto, emphasized that this quick step was a form of Polri’s commitment to maintaining security and public order. He also appealed to the public not to be easily provoked by emotions, avoid consuming alcohol, and be wise in using social media.
