2026 Bandung Regency Youth Organization Plenary Meeting Held, Focus on Consolidating and Strengthening Work Programs

BANDUNG DISTRICT, Konntroversinews | The 2026 Bandung Regency Youth Organization Plenary Meeting was held at Sukarasa Endah Cottage, Alam Endah Village, Rancabali District, on Monday (2/2/2026). This activity is the initial momentum for the organization to consolidate, develop and strengthen the current year’s work program, as well as aligning the vision of all management at various levels.

The plenary meeting was attended by district administrators as well as representatives from the sub-district level. This forum is focused on evaluating previous work programs, adjusting to the latest regulations, as well as strengthening the management structure to increase the active role of Karang Taruna in society. The plenary atmosphere was dynamic with discussions that focused on the organization’s strategic steps forward.

Chair of the Bandung Regency Youth Organization, Ruli Yulina, SH, emphasized that the work program in general remains focused on the agenda that is already underway, but with an emphasis on strengthening a number of strategic aspects. According to him, consistency in carrying out the program is the key so that the Karang Taruna movement remains focused and able to have a real impact on society.

He explained that the mandatory program that will continue to be implemented is regional development down to the sub-district and village levels. Apart from that, in 2026 the Karang Taruna Achievement Competition will be held as a form of appreciation and motivation for administrators in various regions, which will then be closed with the Karang Taruna Service Month activities. It is hoped that this series of activities will provide a space for actualization and evaluation of the organization’s performance as a whole.

At the beginning of this year, the organization also emphasized the importance of socializing Minister of Social Affairs Regulation Number 9 of 2025 concerning Karang Taruna. Ruli said that there were a number of changes to the rules that must be understood comprehensively by all administrators, so that the implementation of the organization’s duties and functions remains in line with applicable regulations.

Apart from strengthening the work program, in the plenary it was also decided to reposition management and open recruitment for new administrators from sub-district and village elements. This step was taken to maintain organizational solidity, including filling the strategic position left vacant after the death of the Deputy Chair for Organization and Cadre Development (OKK), the late Kang Cepi Sopani. Ruli emphasized that Karang Taruna will continue to make a real contribution to the success of Bandung Regency Government programs under the guidance of the Social Service, by ensuring that each program actually reaches the community and the benefits are felt.” He said ** (TZ)
