Kuningan Police Traffic Unit Distributes Takjil on Jalan Siliwangi

Brass, Konntroversinews | The atmosphere before breaking the fast in the Jalan Siliwangi area, Kuningan, suddenly became busy on Tuesday afternoon (24/2/2026). Dozens of Kuningan Police Traffic Unit personnel took to the streets not to carry out raids, but to distribute hundreds of free takjil packages to road users.
The social action which started at around 17.00 WIB received an extraordinary response from the community. It was observed that hundreds of takjil packages that were prepared were sold out—or rather distributed—in just a matter of minutes. Motorbike riders, public transport drivers and pedestrians seemed enthusiastic about receiving gifts to break the fast.

Kuningan Police Head of Traffic, AKP Aktuin Moniharapon, who directly led this activity, stated that this action was part of the “Sharing Police” program in the holy month of Ramadan. According to him, this activity aims to build friendship and help motorists who are still on the road when it is time to break the fast.
“Today we distributed hundreds of takjil packages as a form of Polri’s concern for the community, especially road users on Jalan Siliwangi. The enthusiasm was extraordinary, hundreds of packages ran out in just a matter of minutes,” said AKP Aktuin Moniharapon at the activity location.

Even though they focus on social activities, Satlantas personnel still provide educational messages regarding traffic safety (Safety Riding). Officers kindly reminded motorists to remain orderly, use helmets, and not rush when it was time to break the fast at home.
“While distributing takjil, we also continue to urge the public to prioritize safety on the road. Don’t let it happen because you want to get home quickly to break the fast, ignoring traffic rules which could endanger yourself or others,” added Kasat.

One of the online motorcycle taxi drivers passing by admitted that he was greatly helped by the distribution of this takjil.
“It’s very helpful, especially if there are still orders during opening hours. Thank you to the Kuningan Police Traffic Unit, hopefully it will be a blessing for everyone,” he said.

It is hoped that this annual routine activity can strengthen the emotional relationship between the National Police and the community, as well as create a conducive situation for Public Security and Security and Traffic Security during the month of Ramadan in the jurisdiction of the Kuningan Police. **8
