Subang, Konntroversinews | The Head of Cimeuhmal Village, Tanjungsiang District, Subang Regency was reluctant to provide information when asked for clarification regarding the use of Village Funds (DD) for the 2024 fiscal year.
Confirmation efforts were made by media crew by visiting the Cimeuhmal Village Office on Wednesday (19/11/2025), accompanied by a number of media colleagues. Apart from that, a request for response was also submitted via WhatsApp message on the same day. However, until this news was published, there was no response even though the message sent had been read.
The silence shown by the Head of Cimeuhmal Village has given rise to allegations of non-transparency in the management of Village Funds.
Previously, the public had highlighted the use of DD in Cimeuhmal Village which was considered less transparent. One indication of this is the absence of the APBDes banner, which should be a means of information for the community regarding planning and use of the village budget.

Internal sources said that the Village Head was suspected of giving the right of reply regarding the 2024 APBDes regulations to an individual acting on behalf of Karang Taruna via WhatsApp telephone connection. This condition further strengthens allegations of irregularities in the realization of Village Funds.
As part of social supervision, the community hopes that the Subang Regency Inspectorate and District Prosecutor’s Office will immediately come down directly to carry out an inspection in Cimeuhmal Village, Tanjungsiang District, Subang Regency, West Java Province.
