Brebes Police Chief Leads National Grand Meeting, Invites Trade Unions and Laborers to Maintain Conducive Investment Climate

BREBES, (Konntroversinews), – Approximately 500 participants from various trade unions and laborers in Brebes Regency attended the National Grand Apple at the PT yard. Emas Mitra Lestari Tanjung on Monday (27/10/2025).

This rally was held in order to strengthen synergy and joint commitment to maintain the conduciveness of the Brebes Regency area.

Acting as the leader of the rally was the Brebes Police Chief, AKBP Lilik Ardhiansyah, who in his direction emphasized the central role of workers/laborers as important partners for entrepreneurs in improving welfare.

Police Chief Lilik Ardhiansyah emphasized that the existence of labor unions is very necessary as a means to fight for, protect and defend the welfare of workers, especially in Brebes Regency.

“The National Police will continue to support and participate in guarding the workers’ struggle in fighting for their aspirations for better welfare,” said the Police Chief.

Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of cooperation between the National Police and labor unions to create a safe and peaceful situation. According to him, a conducive situation will realize economic growth and improve the investment climate in the Brebes area.

“We hope that trade unions will not be easily provoked by parties who want to harm the struggle of labor groups,” said AKBP Lilik Ardhiansyah.

Through this grand rally, the Police Chief also emphasized that the Police are always ready to assist workers in monitoring the expression of their aspirations and will continue to strive to provide the best service for the welfare of workers.

AKBP Lilik Ardiansyah also reminded workers to be wise in using social media and be careful about fraudulent methods via social media or telephone.

“Fraud is often carried out by unknown people in the name of companies or individuals. Therefore, let’s increase awareness of crimes using this method,” ordered the Brebes Police Chief.

The Police Chief also stated the National Police’s commitment to continuing to open space for communication and dialogue with various elements of society, as well as prioritizing a humanist approach in maintaining security.

“We invite all laborers and employees to become pioneers of safety in the work environment and society,” he asked.

The National Grand Apple event was also attended by the Brebes Police PJU, the Pantura regional police chief, representatives from the Manpower Service Irfan Juneidi, PT management. Emas Mitra Lestari Tanjung, as well as heads of leading worker/labor unions such as KSPI, Sebumi BIG Tanjung, and SPSI from several companies.

The event closed with a group photo session as a symbol of synergy and joint commitment between the National Police, local government, entrepreneurs and worker/labor unions in Brebes Regency.
