Cirebon Mayor Attends Socialization of Presidential Instruction 11/2025, Encourages Acceleration of Regional Road Repairs

CIREBON, Controversy news, Com.– Efforts to accelerate the development of regional road infrastructure continue to be encouraged by the central and regional governments. The Mayor of Cirebon, Effendi Edo, SAP, M.Si, attended the Socialization of Regional Road Management through a Creative Financing Scheme with the optimization of Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 11 of 2025, which was held by the Ministry of Public Works (PU) at the Ministry of Public Works’ Auditorium Building.

This activity is a strategic forum for local governments to understand various financing breakthroughs in road management, amidst conventional budget limitations. Through this outreach, the Ministry of Public Works is encouraging the acceleration of increasing road connectivity with a creative and collaborative financing approach.

Not only relying on the APBN and APBD, the scheme presented also emphasizes the importance of synergy between the central and regional governments, as well as the use of non-conventional financing sources to accelerate equitable and sustainable development of road infrastructure.

Cirebon Mayor Effendi Edo assessed that this socialization opens up great opportunities for regions to be more innovative in financing infrastructure development. With a comprehensive understanding, the Cirebon City Government is expected to be able to optimize the various financing opportunities available.
