Cirebon, Kontroversinews, Com.– The Grand Final of the Cirebon IDOLA Nok Hijab Election 2025 is not only a prestigious event, but also a strategic momentum for the development of tourism, the creative economy and empowering the younger generation. With full support from the Cirebon City Government, this event is expected to produce inspirational ambassadors who are ready to take Cirebon’s name to the national and international level.
“Let’s use this stage not only to win the crown, but also to become positive influencers and trendsetters for the young generation of Cirebon City,” said Deputy Mayor of Cirebon, Siti Farida Rosmawati, when attending the event at Grage Mall, Sunday (23/11/2025).
This event succeeded in attracting the public’s attention, not just as a competition, but as a space for forming the character of the young generation who is intelligent, polite and broad-minded.
“I hope that the selected Nok Hijab IDOLA will be able to represent Cirebon women who are ethical, cultured and highly competitive,” he added.
This election has a deeper strategic value than just a beauty event. This competition is a concrete effort by the Cirebon City Government through the Culture and Tourism Office to produce tourism and creative economy ambassadors who not only promote local destinations, but also become a driving force for innovation and creativity.
The Deputy Mayor emphasized the important role of the young generation in city development. According to him, the tourism sector and creative economy are the engines of the city’s future growth. Through this event, the Deputy Mayor hopes that fresh ideas will emerge from the finalists that will be able to elevate Cirebon’s culinary, culture and MSME products to a higher level. Not only that, closing his speech, the Deputy Mayor gave a motivational message to the finalists.
“The crown is just a symbol, but real contribution to society and our city is the main goal. Keep learning, working and being an agent of change,” he hoped.
Head of the Cirebon City Culture and Tourism Service, Agus Sukmanjaya, explained the long process leading up to the grand final. He explained that today’s event was the culmination of several stages, starting from preparation, open call, to participant selection.
“From 51 applicants from Cirebon Raya, we selected 20 finalists who then underwent a quarantine process to prepare themselves to become princess hijab influencers at the national level,” he explained.
Agus emphasized that this activity was not just ceremonial, but had clear continuity. The winner of this event will later represent Cirebon at the West Java level, and if they qualify, will advance to the national level in August 2026.
“God willing, the best will bring a good name to Cirebon City,” he said.
Apart from competition, this event is also a forum for collaboration across communities and families. “Tourism culture will be stronger if we unite. Administrative barriers should not hinder the space for participation, because the success of this event depends on the involvement of all elements of society,” he said.
