FKGOL Ready to Demo, BRI Sindangagung is suspected to make it difficult for the poor to submit KUR

Kuningan, Controversinews | Cases of alleged fictitious loans and embezzlement of People’s Business Credit (KUR) funds by unscrupulous employees of BRI returned to the spotlight of the Kuningan Mass Organization & NGO (FKGOL) Joint Communication Forum.

Saturday (9/17/2025), at the FK-Gol Secretariat, Chair of the Barracks, Kang Nana Rusdiana, S.IP, said that every year there were always victims of the KUR BRI program that ended in prison due to fictitious loan practices and funding.

“But what happened at the Sindangagung BRI Unit of Sindangagung District Kuningan Regency was different. There were residents of Kaduagung Village who had submitted KUR, but to this day it was not processed. This is strange, even though the person concerned is clean and does not have a loan in other places. We are questioning the KUR management system at BRI Sindangagung,” he said.

Nana asserted, FK-GOL has long planned the audience and even a demonstration to the BRI branch related to the rampant cases of fictitious loans and embezzlement of KUR funds.

“FKGOL will not remain silent if the community is disadvantaged. The KUR is to help the people develop the business, not to be complicated. Moreover, BRI cooperates with the Kuningan District Prosecutor’s Office in the event of a default. So there should be no unfair treatment to the community,” he added.

The same thing was conveyed by the Secretary General of Gamas, Bung Rahmat. He reminded that the Minister of Finance had poured a trillions of rupiah to be managed by Bank Himbara, including BRI.

“Cases of fictitious loans and embezzlement of KUR funds in BRI are real. There are already imprisoned and there are still those who proceed at Kejari Kuningan. If the community continues to be disadvantaged, FKGOL is ready to take a demonstration to the Sindangagung BRI unit.

Rahmat also reminded BRI not to trigger unrest in the community. “Do not let the public angry to cause impressiveness in Kuningan, just because many KUR submissions are not processed for unclear reasons,” he said.

According to information from one of the applicants, the bank said that the submission would be forwarded to the Regional Mantri. But until now, Mantri BRI Sindangagung Unit is not cooperative, not even responding to the telephone or WhatsApp message.

The Chairman of Gibas, Kang Manap, also emphasized the need for real action.

“It is time for FKGOL together with the community to go down the demonstration to BRI. Ethics and behavior of unscrupulous BRI employees have clearly made it difficult for the community. Small people who really need to be complicated, while individuals arbitrarily make fictitious loans and embezzle KUR funds. Ineti-ethical Mantri must be expelled from BRI because it can trigger noise,” he concluded. ***
