Kang DS invites KDMP to actively support the free nutritional eating program

Kab. Bandung, Controversinews | Bandung Regent, Dadang Supriatna accompanied by the Head of Diskominfo, Teguh Purwayadi, Head of the Cooperative and UKM Office, Didin Syahidin, as well as several regional apparatus heads, conducted a road show to a number of districts, Wednesday (7/10/2025).

The activity titled “Road Show Working Visit of the Regent of Bandung: The Coordination Meeting of the Red and White Village Cooperative (KDMP)” took place in the Districts of Soreang, Cangkuang, Kutawaringin, Margaasih, Katapang, Dayeuhkolot, and Margahayu.

In this activity, the number one person in Bandung Regency was dialogue with the village heads and KDMP management to accommodate aspirations, input, and obstacles in the field. He also conveyed the purpose of the formation of KDMP initiated by President Prabowo Subianto, namely to improve the welfare of the village community while supporting the Free Nutritious Eating Program (MBG).

“There is no reason for MBG to refuse cooperation with KDMP in the procurement of 29 types of basic needs for MBG kitchens,” said Kang DS, the familiar greeting of the Regent of Bandung.

He also reminded that if there are parties, including SPPG or village heads, which hamper cooperation with KDMP, it will be reported to the Head of the Central BGN.

According to Kang DS, cooperation between KDMP and SPPG can include many things, such as the procurement of chicken, eggs, fish, tofu, tempeh, milk, and various types of vegetables and fruit. He encouraged that village land that has not been utilized can be used for agriculture and residents who like to raise fish can be involved to meet the needs of MBG.

“The head of the KDMP and the village head must be observant to see opportunities. KDMP can be a forum for residents to produce and empowered,” he said.

In addition, Kang DS stressed the importance of administrative arrangement and strengthening the KDMP organization.

“KDMP must be orderly administration and have qualified human resources. If it is well organized and the price of the product is competing, I will recommend to work with SPPG,” he explained.

Finally, Kang DS also appreciated KDMP who had carried out productive activities, for example KDMP Soreang Village in collaboration with PT Pertamina for the sale of melon gas, and KDMP Ring Village which took the initiative to organize street vendors in the Gading Tutuka area 1.
