The West Java Activist Alliance is Ready to Hold a Peaceful Action “Hakordia” at the West Java Prosecutor’s Office

Kuningan, Konntroversinews | December 9 2025 is celebrated as World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia). In this momentum, the West Java Activist Alliance will hold a Peaceful Action in the courtyard of the West Java High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati Jabar).

On Friday, December 5 2025, the Chair of the Hakordia Peace Action, Bang Agus Satria, visited Kuningan Regency to stay in touch as well as convey an official invitation to the Kuningan Joint Mass Organizations & NGOs Communication Forum (FKGOL).

Agus Satria said that FKGOL is part of the extended family of the West Java Activist Alliance.

“I directly invited FKGOL to jointly take part in the Peace Action at the West Java Prosecutor’s Office in the context of Hakordia. I am proud and give a thumbs up to my FKGOL colleagues who consistently monitor policies that are not pro-community and care about efforts to eradicate suspected criminal acts of corruption, especially in Kuningan Regency,” he said.

FKGOL is Ready to Present and Voice the Kuningan Issue

Bung Nana Rusdiana, S.IP from NGO Barak, representing FKGOL, expressed his thanks for the invitation.
“We thank our brother, Bang Agus Satria, who officially came to invite FKGOL to take part in the Hakordia Peace Action at the West Java Prosecutor’s Office,” he said.

He considered that Hakordia was the right moment to remind law enforcement officials (APH) about the joint commitment between the Corruption Eradication Commission, the Attorney General’s Office and the National Police in eradicating corruption.

“Several districts in West Java have been followed up by the Attorney General’s Office, National Police Headquarters, and the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission. Maybe Kuningan is the only one that has not been touched, even though there are several big cases that are being handled by the Prosecutor’s Office and according to information they are under central APH monitoring,” he said.

FKGOL ensures that it will raise various issues regarding alleged criminal acts of corruption in Kuningan in the next action.

Environmental Issues and Problematic Policies Will Also Be Raised

Bung Boy from Paku Mas said the same thing. He confirmed that the notification letter for the peaceful demonstration from the West Java Activist Alliance had been received by the West Java Prosecutor’s Office.

According to him, this year FKGOL officially joined as the Kuningan representative in the West Java Activist Alliance.

“Hakordia’s momentum at the Prosecutor’s Office will not only be to voice allegations of criminal acts of corruption in Kuningan, but also government policies which are suspected to be in conflict with regulations, including those related to the environment, the slopes of Mount Ciremai, and others,” he explained.

Encouragement for APH to be upright in eradicating corruption

The West Java Activist Alliance’s peaceful action at the West Java Prosecutor’s Office was seen as a good opportunity to strengthen synergy between activists and law enforcement officials. They hope that the Prosecutor’s Office and Prosecutor’s Office will be able to act decisively, both against corruption in the private sector and even more so in government agencies.

Bung Boy also highlighted the issue of Compensation Claims (TGR) which is often considered to be “protective clothing” for perpetrators of corruption.

“In fact, TGR itself can actually be an entry point to uncover alleged criminal acts of corruption, because TGR arises from the results of an audit of a case. If there is no audit, it is impossible for TGR to emerge,” he said.

Closing his statement, he hoped that law enforcement would be more strict in the future.

“Hopefully law enforcement officials can be upright in eradicating criminal acts of corruption. The West Java Activist Alliance is ready to synergize with APH,” he concluded. ***
