Cirebon City Police Reskim Unit Quickly Arrests Perpetrators of Viral Violence and Destruction on Social Media

Cirebon, Konntroversinews | The Cirebon City Police Criminal Investigation Unit under the leadership of Inspector Deny Arisandy, SH, MH, C.PHR, immediately carried out an investigation and analysis of the video circulating on social media. From the results of the search, the police succeeded in identifying ten alleged perpetrators who were suspected of being involved in the violence and destruction.

On Saturday (18/10/2025) at around 13.00 WIB, the team succeeded in apprehending the suspected perpetrators in the coastal area of ​​Panjunan Village, Lemahwungkuk District, Cirebon City. They are MFA (30), MF (16), A (22), MAF (19), RF (20), MFI (19), FPP (17), AF (18), HA (16), and DS (21). All of them were then taken to the Cirebon City Police Headquarters to undergo further examination.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Cirebon City Police AKP Adam Gana, STK, SIK, M.Si. explained that the success of this quick arrest was a manifestation of the alertness of the Cirebon City Police in responding to public reports. He emphasized that his party would not provide space for acts of violence or thuggery in any form.

“As soon as the video went viral and the victim’s report was received, the team immediately moved and managed to arrest the perpetrators in a short time. Currently all of them are still undergoing examination for further legal proceedings,” said AKP Adam Gana.

He also appealed to the public not to hesitate to report if they experience or know of similar incidents. “Please report via Call Center 110, WhatsApp Report Police Chief Bae, or WhatsApp Maung Presisi Team 851, so that we can immediately follow up,” he concluded. (Silvi Wulandari)
