Kuningan Activist Manap Suharnap Ready to Take PDAU Forward If Elected

BRASS, Konntroversinews | After the resignation of the former President Director of the Kuningan Regional Miscellaneous Business Company (PDAU), a number of names began to emerge as potential replacement candidates. One of them is a senior Kuningan activist, Bung Manap Suharnap, who stated his readiness to run in the election market for PDAU Main Director.

In his statement to journalists on Tuesday (4/11/2025) at the Kuningan Joint Forum of Mass Organizations & NGOs (FKGOL) secretariat, Bung Manap emphasized the importance of making PDAU a BUMD that is truly capable of making a real contribution to Regional Original Income (PAD).

“It is time for PDAU Kuningan to become a BUMD that can make a real contribution to the Regional Government’s PAD. A PDAU Managing Director must have a focused, measurable and mature business concept and strategy. He does not have to depend on existing business sectors, but is able to open up business innovation in various sectors,” he said.

Furthermore, Manap emphasized that PDAU should not depend entirely on capital from local governments.

“If the business concept and strategy are clear, then capital will come by itself,” he added.

According to him, there is a lot of potential in Kuningan Regency that can be explored and developed to advance PDAU so that it becomes a BUMD that contributes greatly to PAD. He also hopes that the election process will be honest and fair (jurdil), without political interests or partiality from any party.

“We will prove it later, if I am elected, I will make PDAU Kuningan a BUMD that the regional government and the community can truly be proud of. PDAU will accelerate quickly through various business innovations, in line with the Regent’s vision and mission,” he concluded. ***
