West Bandung, Controversinews | The polemic about the Free Nutritious Eating Program (MBG) which is now in the public spotlight is increasingly widespread to various regions. The local government together with related parties tightened monitoring steps, including the kitchens of food providers for beneficiaries.
One of them was carried out by the West Bandung Regency Media Team who came directly to the SPPG Selacau kitchen, Wednesday (09/24/2025). This visit is at the same time part of transparency efforts and ensuring the standard of raw materials and menus presented in accordance with the provisions and safe consumption of students and beneficiaries.
The Chairperson of the SPPG Kitchen Foundation Selacau, who is familiarly called Kang Rendra, expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the attention of various parties, ranging from community organizations (mass organizations), non -governmental organizations (NGOs), to media people who consistently work together.
“We are very grateful to all those involved in overseeing the course of our kitchen, both directly and through the news. We are open with this monitoring, because the aim is for the common good, especially for the beneficiaries we serve,” said Kang Rendra.
Furthermore, Kang Rendra asserted that every form of criticism and complaints that entered actually became positive energy for improvement.
“Alhamdulillah, all of our input and criticism are happy to accept. It all becomes a homework for us so that in the future we can further improve quality, both in terms of menu, raw materials, and overall kitchen management,” he added.
On this occasion, Kang Rendra also emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to continue to prioritize the quality of the menu to match the nutritional, hygienic standards, and on target. He hopes that synergy with the government, mass organizations, NGOs, the media, and the community can continue to run well so that the MBG program really provides concrete benefits.

With the openness of the MBG provider kitchen, the public is expected to increasingly believe that criticism and supervision are not to bring down, but to strengthen the quality of service.
