BANDUNG, Konntroversinews | Head of Dayeuhkolot Subdistrict, Asep Suryadiinaugurated the Dayeuhkolot 4 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) Kitchen in order to support national strategic programs Free Nutritious Meals (MBG). The inauguration took place on Jalan Sukabirus RT 01 RW 13, Citeureup Village, Dayeuhkolot District, Bandung Regency, Tuesday (17/02/2026).
The inauguration of the SPPG kitchen was also attended by Forkopimcam elements, including Danramil and the Dayeuhkolot Police Chief, as well as local community leaders. In his speech, Asep Suryadi conveyed a message to the kitchen managers managed by Indhifa Foundation to immediately coordinate with the local health center to arrange a Certificate of Suitable Hygiene and Sanitation (SLHS).
This is considered important to ensure food quality and cleanliness of the kitchen environment as a preventive measure to avoid unwanted incidents.
Furthermore, the Head of Asep Subdistrict expressed his appreciation to the Indhifa Foundation which has played an active role in the success of the MBG program. He considers that the involvement of the private sector in this program is a form of public service, because the products produced by the SPPG kitchen are intended to fulfill the nutritional needs of school children and the B3 group, namely toddlers, pregnant women (bumil), and breastfeeding mothers (busui).
According to him, the Free Nutritious Meal program is not just providing food, but is a major government investment for the nation’s future. “The SPPG Kitchen is the main foundation for ensuring that children receive optimal nutritional intake in order to build an intelligent and productive generation towards a Golden Indonesia 2045,” he said.
He also invited all elements, from village government, schools, to parents, to work together to make the program a success. Kitchen managers are asked to maintain cleanliness, quality of food ingredients and accurate distribution so that the benefits are truly felt by the recipients.
Apart from that, the sub-district head hopes that this program will be able to stimulate the local economy by involving local residents as workers and utilizing raw materials from local products. He also appealed that if there are deficiencies in presentation or distribution, the public can convey them directly to the kitchen management so that they can be corrected immediately without causing a stir on social media.
Meanwhile, the Head of SPPG Dayeuhkolot 4 Kitchen, Robertus, accompanied by the supervisor of the Indhifa Foundation, M. Arif Hidayat, emphasized that the kitchen was equipped with nutritionists and professional chefs. His party has also coordinated with community health centers regarding testing a number of indicators in fulfilling hygiene and sanitation standards to ensure food is safe for consumption.
Arif added that the Dayeuhkolot 4 Sukabirus SPPG Kitchen is targeting 2,500 beneficiaries, consisting of 2,000 students at PAUD, SD, SMP and SMA levels, as well as 500 portions for the B3 group, namely pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and toddlers. (TZ)
